these terms govern your use of [hired]. they're written to be readable, not impenetrable. by creating an account or using the service you agree to them. if you don't agree, don't sign up — and if you've already signed up, you can delete your account at any time.

you accept these terms by doing any of the following:

• [ ]using the service while signed in
• [ ]continuing to use the service after we notify you of a material change to these terms

if you're agreeing on behalf of an employer or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. these terms then apply both to you personally and to that entity.

[hired] is a job-discovery and notification service for the swiss labor market. specifically:

• [ ]you upload your cv and tell us what kind of roles you want
• [ ]we ingest job postings from public ats apis and other documented public sources (see /sources for the current list)
• [ ]we match new postings against your profile and notify you about relevant ones
• [ ]you decide whether to apply, by following the link to the employer's own application page

we are not a recruitment agency. we do not represent you to employers. we do not submit applications on your behalf. we do not negotiate offers or salary. we surface opportunities; the application relationship is between you and the employer.

to use [hired] you need an account. you agree to:

• [ ]provide a valid email address you control
• [ ]keep your password (or magic-link email access) secure
• [ ]provide accurate information in your cv and profile to the extent you want accurate matches
• [ ]notify us promptly at hello@gethirednow.ch if you suspect unauthorized access

you are responsible for activity that happens under your account. we are not liable for losses caused by your failure to keep your credentials secure.

one person, one account. we may suspend duplicate accounts created by the same individual to circumvent free-tier limits.

when using [hired] you agree not to:

• [ ]scrape, copy, or systematically extract our job database or any other part of the service
• [ ]resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data we surface to you
• [ ]reverse engineer or attempt to derive our matching algorithms, source list, or proprietary scoring
• [ ]use automated tools to access the service beyond what we explicitly permit (rss feeds and documented apis, when offered)
• [ ]create accounts using false identities, disposable email aliases used to evade plan limits, or other people's personal information
• [ ]upload cvs that contain material you don't have the right to share (e.g. someone else's cv)
• [ ]use the service to harass, defame, or harm any employer listed on the platform
• [ ]probe, scan, or test the security of the service except through our published responsible-disclosure process at hello@gethirednow.ch
• [ ]use the service in any way that violates swiss law or the law of the jurisdiction you're in

we may suspend or terminate accounts that engage in any of the above.

[hired] is offered on two tiers:

free tier

pro tier

• [ ]chf 9 per month
• [ ]ai-generated cover letters tailored to each job
• [ ]ai cv optimization for each role
• [ ]daily digest & live notifications
• [ ]salary data visible where available
• [ ]unlimited saved searches
• [ ]editable profile & preferences
• [ ]4-day free trial — cancel anytime

prices are in swiss francs. vat is added at checkout by stripe where applicable.

pro tier subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via stripe. the subscription auto-renews each month until you cancel. cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period; you retain pro access until then.

we may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice by email. continuing to use the pro tier after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price. you can cancel at any time before the new price applies if you don't agree.

we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first pro tier payment. if you cancel within 14 days of your first paid subscription and email us at hello@gethirednow.ch, we'll refund that payment in full. no questions asked.

after the 14-day window, subscription payments are non-refundable for the current billing period, but you can cancel future renewals at any time. partial-month refunds are not provided for mid-cycle cancellations.

if we materially reduce the functionality of the pro tier without compensating changes (i.e. a real downgrade, not a cosmetic change), we will prorate refunds for the remainder of any prepaid period at your request.

"your content" means anything you upload to or generate on [hired]: your cv, profile fields, saved filters, notes on jobs, feedback, etc.

you retain all rights to your content. by uploading it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• [ ]store and process the content to operate the service
• [ ]extract structured fields from your cv using our llm pipeline (see /privacy section 08)
• [ ]match your content against jobs in our index to produce notifications and recommendations

this license ends when you delete the content or your account. we do not use your content to train models, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for any purpose other than operating the service for you. see /privacy for the full data handling story.

the [hired] service — including the design, software, copy, illustrations, logo, the [hired] wordmark, our normalised job schema, our matching algorithms, our scoring weights, and aggregated coverage statistics — is owned by hired and protected by swiss and international copyright, trademark, and trade-secret law.

third-party content surfaced through the service — specifically job postings ingested from public ats apis, employer logos, and swiss federal statistical office salary data — remains the property of the respective rights holders. we surface this content under the terms of the public apis we use, the open government data license for bfs data, and the fair use of factual information in a search-and-discovery context.

these terms do not grant you any license to our content beyond what is necessary to use the service as intended.

we provide [hired] on an "as is" and "as available" basis. we work hard to make the service useful, accurate, and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that:

• [ ]every relevant swiss job is in our index (we cover the swiss-relevant ats platforms that publish public apis; we do not cover sources outside that — see /sources)
• [ ]job listings shown are still open at the moment you apply (employers fill or withdraw roles continuously; we re-poll hourly but a gap is unavoidable)
• [ ]cv extraction is 100% accurate (we provide a review step so you can correct it before matching)
• [ ]salary estimates reflect what any specific employer will actually pay (bfs estimates are aggregate population statistics; see /sources section 02)
• [ ]the service will be free from bugs, errors, downtime, or security incidents

to the maximum extent permitted by swiss law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages arising from your use of the service. our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or the service is capped at the greater of:

• [ ]chf 100, or
• [ ]the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim

nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under swiss law (intentional misconduct, gross negligence, mandatory consumer protections, etc.).

by you

you can delete your account at any time from your account settings. deletion is processed within 24 hours; see /privacy section 07 for the retention details. cancellation of a pro subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

by us

we may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if:

• [ ]you violate these terms (including the acceptable-use rules in section 04)
• [ ]you fail to pay for a pro subscription after a reasonable grace period
• [ ]we are required to do so by law, court order, or a binding regulatory decision
• [ ]we discontinue the service entirely or in your region (we'll give at least 30 days' notice and process a prorated refund for any prepaid time)

termination by us doesn't entitle you to a refund of past payments unless the termination was for service discontinuation. on termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; we delete your data per the schedule in /privacy section 07.

if you have a problem with the service, please email hello@gethirednow.ch first. most issues are resolved within a few working days at this step, and that's much faster than legal proceedings for everyone involved.

these terms are governed by swiss substantive law, excluding the swiss conflict-of-laws rules and the un convention on contracts for the international sale of goods (cisg).

the exclusive place of jurisdiction for any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the service is the competent courts of the canton of st. gallen, switzerland.

mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence remain unaffected — if you are a consumer based in a jurisdiction that grants you stronger protections than swiss law, those protections still apply.

we may update these terms as the service evolves. when we make a material change (e.g. price changes, new restrictions on use, changes to liability), we will:

• [ ]email all registered users at least 30 days before the new terms take effect
• [ ]update the "effective from" date at the top of this page
• [ ]summarize the change in plain language in the notification email

minor non-material changes (typos, clarifications, formatting, updated examples) may be made without notice. the "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change of any kind.

if you don't agree to a material change, you can cancel your subscription and / or delete your account before the new terms take effect. continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

entire agreement. these terms, together with our /privacy policy, /imprint, and /sources page, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. they supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.

severability. if any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

no waiver. if we don't enforce a right or provision of these terms in a given instance, that is not a waiver of our ability to enforce it later.

assignment. you may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. we may assign these terms in connection with a sale, merger, restructuring, or change of legal form, with notice to you.

language. these terms are written in english. if we publish a german translation, the english version controls in case of conflict, except where mandatory swiss consumer law requires otherwise.
